TERMS AND CONDITIONS

CIVIL MARRIAGE PROCEDURE & REQUIREMENT

• Wedding requests must be made 30 days prior to the ceremony
• Number of weddings held per day is limited and will be confirmed on a first come first serve basis
• If either party is under the age of 18 years of age, a parent must accompany him or her Passports and birth certificates
• Documents to show that there is no impediment or lawful hindrance. If this cannot be obtained, an affidavit must be signed here after a solemn declaration has been to that effect.
• If one of the parties is a divorcee, widow or widower the divorce document or death certificate must be produced
• There is no nationality obligation that must be fulfilled, but all documents must be received at least 30 days prior to the wedding date.
• All documents must be translated in English or French. If any of the documents are not in English or French they will have to be translated into either language. These documents will then have to be stamped and signed by a solicitor stating that it is the true translation of the original.
• Weddings are held from Monday to Sunday. Additional costs are applicable for weddings over the weekend (Saturdays and Sundays) or public holidays when possible.
• Time of wedding to be decided upon, during the wedding briefing in Seychelles Occupations, Religions and addresses are verbally certified during the ceremony
• Certain nationalities require extra formalities after the wedding for it to be considered legal in their respective country.

– UAE Residents and Nationals have a mandatory Embassy stamp fee, endorsed in Seychelles by the UAE Embassy in order to legalise the ceremony.
– Mandatory for all Nationals except UK nationals living in UK legal documentation: Civil Wedding Certificate / Registration Fee + Authentication Letter + Apostil

PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY

• 50% pre-payment is required upon confirmation of the wedding and remaining 50% is to be settled a week prior to the wedding
• Cancellation 14 days prior will be subject to 50% of total package
• Cancellation 5 days prior will be subject to 100% of total package
• A supplementary fee is applicable for extra photography & videos
