As a newly built Resort from the ground up, we opened our doors in August 2015 under the ownership of the H-Hotel Group welcoming guests from all over the world to experience the modern yet traditional Seychellois hospitality. Acquired by STORY Hospitality, a division of Abu Dhabi Capital Group LLC based in the UAE in November 2020, the resort transcends the allure of Seychelles, the Islands and the magic the local Seychellois brings to our guests. The Resort is located on the edge of the beach at Beau Vallon, Mahe and comprises of 100 bedrooms made up of 84 Suites and 16 Beach Pool Villas. About Seychelles
Seychelles, island republic in the western Indian Ocean, comprising about 115 islands, with lush tropical vegetation, beautiful beaches, and a wide variety of marine life. Situated between latitudes 4° and 11° S and longitudes 46° and 56° E, the major islands of Seychelles are located about 1,000 miles (1,600 km) east of Kenya and about 700 miles (1,100 km) northeast of Madagascar.
The capital, Victoria, is situated on the island of Mahé. The climate is tropical oceanic, with little temperature variation during the year. Daily temperatures rise to the mid-80s F (low 30s C) in the afternoon and fall to the low 70s F (low 20s C) at night. Creole, also called Seselwa, is the mother tongue of most Seychellois. Under the constitution, Creole, English, and French are recognized as national languages.
More than three-fourths of the population are Roman Catholics. There are also Anglicans, Christians of other denominations, Hindus, and Muslims.

Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q.)
There is no real bad time to visit Seychelles, quiet the opposite. The air temperature fluctuates by 6-8 degrees between Summer (December – February) and Winter (June – August) with an average of 27 degrees year-round. The water temperature changes by 2degrees between Summer and Winter with an average of 23 degrees year year. You get an average of 11 hours sunlight per day.
As we are in the tropics, there is a tendency to get rain even during the dry season, most of the time it happens either around 5 am or 5 pm for a brief period but not every day. The heavier rain tends to be during the Summer months
The roads, although slightly narrow, are well maintained with driving on the left side. There are options on taxis, public busses or car rentals (obtainable from the resort)
A wide selection of excellent restaurants is available in the nearby vicinity serving dishes that are local Creole through to international cuisines. Besides the great restaurants at STORY, why not try ‘Paris Seychelles’ next door , a top ranked eatery serving a fusion of french/creole. The street food in Beau Vallon is also recommended but choose wisely.
You may be told that there are private beaches in Seychelles, but this is not true. All beaches are public and well maintained. The few that seem to be private are only due to the location and proximity to get there.

Getting married in Seychelles is legally recognized globally. The whole process is rather simple to have arranged either at the Civil Court or on a beach. Best though to do it on a weekday and not on a weekend. Contact the resort and they can make all arrangements and advise on the documents needed
The crime rate is incredibly low with the odd minor petty theft. It is advisable though to ensure all valuables are kept at the resort and only to take what is needed to the beach.
Seychelles is not Ibiza! There are a few nightclubs and bars and also a casino within walking distance of the resort but all on a small scale.

If STORY Seychelles waives any rights available to it under these terms and conditions on one occasion, this does not mean that those rights will automatically be waived on any other occasion. For convenience, STORY Seychelles may provide options to view search results in multiple currencies. However, all transactions on the STORY Seychelles website will be processed in United Arab Emirates dirhams. STORY Seychelles may add facilities to process transactions in multiple currencies.
If you have been provided with a login and password, then any such login and password are for your personal use only. You may not reveal your login or password to anyone else or permit anyone else to use your login and password to access the Site. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your login and password and accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You must notify STORY Seychelles immediately in the event that the security of your login or password has been breached.
All notices and other communications permitted or required by the provisions of this Agreement may be given by electronic mail or, if by STORY Seychelles, by posting such notice on the Site.
